Robert H. Hale, M.D.



As our most experienced physician, Dr. Robert H. Hale has been with Central Bucks Specialists since 1975, and has been practicing medicine for over forty years. He completed his residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Hahnemann University Hospital. He is board certified in Gastroenterology.

 Dr. Hale is currently the Director of Endoscopic Services for Doylestown Health, and was a founding member of the VIA, and the Staff Director at Doylestown Hospital. As a founding member of the strong community of physicians based in Doylestown, Dr. Hale continues to reside in Bucks County with his wife and daughters. He brings decades of knowledge, experience, and success in the medical field to our team, and to the overall Doylestown Health community at large in all of his endeavors.

Joseph J. Minissale Jr., D.O.



Dr. Joseph J. Minissale, Jr. is a valued member of the Central Bucks Specialists family that has been practicing medicine for twenty-five years. He earned his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and his Gastroenterology fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital. He has been board certified in Internal Medicine for over twenty years, and became board certified in Gastroenterology in 1997.

 A longtime member of the Doylestown Health community, Dr. Minissale will celebrate his twentieth year as part of the Department of Medicine at Doylestown Hospital next year. He is also an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his wife and children whenever possible.

Louis F. Morsbach Jr., M.D.



Dr. Louis F. Morsbach, Jr. has been with Central Bucks Specialists since 1998 after completing his residency and fellowship at The Medical College of Pennsylvania and Allegheny University, respectively. Dr. Morsbach brings a long history of experience in the medical field to our team, and has been board certified in Internal Medicine for twenty-five years, and Gastroenterology since 2003. He is an active member of the Doylestown Hospital staff as well as the Doylestown community, where he and his wife are proud to reside.

 In addition to performing Colonoscopy and Endoscopy procedures, Dr. Morsbach will also perform biliary interventions through Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) for members of our patient population that require such treatment.

Alan Chang, M.D.



Dr. Alan Chang joined Central Bucks Specialists in 2004. He completed his undergraduate work magna cum laude in 1993 at Yale University, and went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Chang then completed his residency and fellowship here in the greater Philadelphia area at Temple University Hospital.

 Dr. Chang has been board certified in Internal Medicine for almost fifteen years, and has been board certified in Gastroenterology since 2004. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and the American College of Gastroenterology. Like most of our physicians, Dr. Chang enjoys spending time in the community with his wife and children.

Sandhya Salguti, M.D.



As one of the more recent additions to the Central Bucks Specialists family, Dr. Sandhya Salguti joined Central Bucks Specialists in August of 2010 after completing her Internal Medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, and has been board certified in Internal Medicine for a decade, and is also board certified in Gastroenterology.

 Dr. Salguti has brought a welcome new approach to clinical care to our expanding team. She is a pleasant, caring addition to our community and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as cooking, traveling, and playing tennis in her spare time.

Victor Araya, M.D.



Dr. Araya has over 25 years of practice experience in both general Gastroenterology as well as Hepatology. His undergraduate work was at Columbia University and medical school at George Washington University. His internal medicine residency was at Temple University and his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Florida. He is board certified in Gastroenterology & Hepatology as well as in Transplant Hepatology. He began his career on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh. His clinical research career started during his Fellowship but expanded rapidly while on the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh. There he became the director of the clinical research unit and participated in some of the earliest clinical research on hepatitis B and C treatment before and after liver transplantation. In 2009 he was appointed Chairman of the Division of Hepatology and the medical director of the liver transplant program at Einstein in Philadelphia. Throughout, he has remained active in caring for all types of gastrointestinal diseases beyond Hepatology. In 2012, he was also awarded Philadelphia Magazine’s as well as the US News & World Report’s “Top Doc” Award for his excellence in patient care. Dr. Araya has also authored or co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts and has been a principal investigator in over 30 pharmaceutical company sponsored clinical trials.

 
Dr. Araya comes to Central Bucks Specialists to help bring tertiary level Hepatology expertise to the community. He will also continue to expand his interest in all areas of general Gastroenterology and is looking forward to see patients in all areas of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. He will also work with the practice in developing a clinical trials unit that can bring cutting-edge research to the greater Doylestown and surrounding areas serving as a resource for all the practitioners and patients in the area.

Kiley Walp, D.O.



Central Bucks Specialists is excited to welcome Dr. Kiley Walp as our newest addition to the practice! Dr. Walp completed her medical training locally at Temple University Hospital. She won multiple clinical awards during her Internal Medicine residency and served as the Chief Fellow during her Gastroenterology fellowship.
 

Dr. Walp is a member of multiple professional societies including the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Joseph Kim, M.D.



Dr. Kim joins us as a member of the VIA Affiliates. He received his undergraduate degree from Haverford College and medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Temple University Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology and an additional year of Therapeutic Advanced Endoscopy at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York, NY.

 
Dr. Kim’s clinical interests include all areas of general gastroenterology. Furthermore he has a specialization in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS); large polyp resections; luminal stenting; and management of pancreatitis and biliary interventions through Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).

 Dr. Kim is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American College of Gastroenterology. He has participated in extensive research, published two chapters on ERCP and EUS and presented at national meetings.

Lisa Kriney, C.R.N.P.



Lisa Kriney is a long-time member of the Central Bucks Specialists staff. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1994 from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree in 1999 from Villanova University.

Karen Lucas, C.R.N.P.



Karen Lucas is a more recent addition to our team at Central Bucks Specialists. Karen first attended Nursing school at the Frankford Hospital School of Nursing of Pennsylvania State University in Philadelphia, PA, and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Penn State University in Abington, PA. Finally, Karen received her Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Karen has quickly become a valued member of our team of care-givers in her time here with the practice, and we are glad to count her among our growing list of top-quality practitioners.
